As winter settles in, thousands of families in Gaza are still living in temporary tents, exposed to cold winds, rain, and damp conditions.
Children sleep on thin ground with little protection.
Parents do everything they can to shield them from illness, fear, and the cold; often without enough blankets, warm clothing, or waterproof shelter.
Winter here isn’t just uncomfortable.
It’s dangerous.
Thanks to the compassion of supporters like you, UMMA Foundation teams are on the ground delivering life-saving winter aid to children and families:
But something unexpected happened during our latest distribution.
Alongside the warmth, children laughed.
They smiled.
For a moment, the cold faded and childhood returned.
Because winter relief isn’t only about survival.
It’s about dignity, comfort, and hope.

For children who have lived through fear, loss, and displacement, these moments matter deeply.
A warm jacket means fewer nights shivering.
A blanket means safer sleep.
A smile means they are still children; not forgotten by the world.
This is what your generosity makes possible.
While this impact is real, the need remains urgent.
Many families are still exposed to freezing nights with limited protection. Winter continues and so must our response.
If you helped make this possible, thank you for standing with Gaza.
If you haven’t yet, you can still be part of this mission today.
